This tract of about 885 acres is located only minutes from the Calera Exit on I-65 South of Birmingham.  The tract is located adjacent to the town of Shelby, a few miles from the Shelby County seat in Columbiana.

The area around Shelby and Columbiana offers golf, restaurants & shopping (including new shopping areas around Calera, Alabaster and Pelham).  It is a short distance to Lay Lake and Paradise Marina.

This beautiful piece of land contains five lakes and a number of small ponds.  There are pastures, timber, creeks and a number of other interesting features, including the historic Shelby Ironworks Park that is adjacent to the property's southern border on County Road 42.  We are in the process of donating a few acres to the park (across the street from the park) where the remains of the blast furnaces of the Shelby Iron Company (which operated from the mid-1800's until around 1925) are located.
